Virtual Champions

Teach Better TeamBlog, Connect Better

TL;DR:

  • Teachers are virtual champions in 2020 by adapting to constant changes.
  • A teacher’s dedication to helping students feel safe with the current situation is shown through the smiles of students.

One word we can describe the latter part 2020 is virtual. Since the spring of this year, education has looked different for our teachers and students. Education is going virtual to accommodate our kids’ safety and to preserve our schools.

A hidden gem inside of this transition is the ability to adapt in a swift moment.

This has been an interesting time. But for the most part as a country, we have handled this with great urgency. That is to say, the most valuable players are our teachers. Imagine planning your outlook for the new school year and having to dismantle your plan to fit the virtual school layout.

Seeing Zoom meetings, students engaged, and teachers becoming creative with their animations has been amazing to see. Teachers play an important part in everyone’s life. They help students gain necessary life skills each and every day.

Your grade school teachers, middle school teachers, and high school teachers have impacted your life in ways that you can’t even imagine. Seeing how strong mentally our teachers are in a time of unknown displays the dedication and hard work that we place upon our teachers year in and year out.

Not once showing panic or worry has allowed our kids to feel safe and comfortable with the current situation. A leader is only as strong as their subordinates; our teachers are the strongest heroes in our community. It shows throughout the smiles on our kids’ faces.

You’re the real MVP. Virtual champions 2020.
